Day 15
Published out of order, This should be the 26th day - blogger is not great for managing posts.
We met in Ciudad Viejo and I was hungry so we went to a very nice restaurant where I got Desayuno Americano snd it was nothing like an American breaky🤣 Ot was good and the place had a cool vibe.
We went next by bus to Estradio Belvedere where my favorite Uruguayan futbol team, Liverpool FC,
Los Negros de la Cuchilla, play. The name roughly mean The Black Blades. But one friend said it meano"The Hooligans" 🤣
We could not get into the stadium and to ne honest, it's in a really rundown part of tge coty and the stadium itself nakes any highschool stadium look like SoFi. They are moving to a new stadium in 2027 so hopefully it will nice and shiny like this on eas when it was built in 1915.
I then wanted to go to the Juan Blanes Museum but we had to taxi because the bus was going to be delayed. We made it but it was closed 🫤 0 for 2. It will be open Thursday at 7 so I'll report them 🫡
By that time Judy was hungry so we went to La Fonda for an early dinner
La Fonda is on an awesome calle se llama Sarandi and it's very nice to stroll for blocks looking at old and new things (cosas) and there are many bistro cafes, all with outdoor seating 👍🏼
Now I'm back at my flat extremely tired and hot and sweaty 🥵
I cannot I'm keep my eyes open chicos 😵 Hasta proxima ❤️
